Its the home game for strikers after a long time. Having reached the ground early, we set up cones and flags and got ready for the game. Winning the toss, Strikers decided to bat first. Openers Mahi and JB played cautiously and made sure we got a good start. Just when we were planning to accelerate, JB got out on 39 in 19th over. In next 10 overs, team scored only 40 runs and lost 4 wickets. Mahi scored another 50 as well.

Divyesh and KC then took matters into their own hands as they scored 80 runs in next 8 overs. They scored a boundary almost every over and made sure the scoreboard kept ticking. KC then lost his wicket in 37th over. With just 3 overs left in the innings, Divyesh unleashed the beast inside him and scored 4 consecutive sixes and a four in 39th over. He ended up with 85(45) and got the team to a total of 243/8 in 40 overs.

Second innings started with strikers not leaking any easy runs and bowling with discipline. With no easy runs to get, batsmen tried to clear one over the inner circle and handed over a simple catch to Mid-on at the end of 8th over. KC sent another opener to pavilion at the end of 11th over. Shankar who was bowling beautifully struck twice in the 12th over and put Redmond Chargers in deep trouble. Having lost 4 wickets in just 12 overs, Redmond chargers never seemed to recover as they end up with just 127/7 in 40 overs.
